The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan is the culmination of almost three decades of evolution. In fact, it introduces the model’s fifth generation with bold confidence. The interior and exterior have been beautifully redesigned, and there are now updates to the performance capabilities and features. In addition, the C-Class Sedan is available in three trim levels, and these are the Premium, the Exclusive and the Pinnacle. C-Class Premium
Throughout all of the trim options, the C-Class Sedan is powered by an I-4 turbo, 2.0-liter engine linked with an automatic transmission. This engine produces 255 horsepower, and the EQ Boost technology gives it a short influx of 20 horsepower for additional power during acceleration. Notably, it is available with mild-hybrid technology this year, and this facilitates improved efficiency and performance. Your driving experience in all three trim options is also elevated by equipment like rear-wheel or 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, Dynamic Select, PRESAFE®, ATTENTION ASSIST®, KEYLESS GO® and adaptive high beam assist. Additional standard safety features at this trim level are blind spot assist, parking damage detection and active brake assist.
The interior of the C-Class Premium is dressed up with the new 11.9-inch touch display screen that sits in the heart of the dashboard. Its portrait-style placement and front mount create a fresh look in the cabin. This color display screen is combined with the 12.3-inch driver’s display screen for a contemporary touch. The MBUX® system now has a biometric fingerprint scanner. The interior ofthe C-Class Premium trim level also comes with wireless smart device integration, a sunroof, heated front seats, ambient lighting, a multi-functional steering wheel, memory settings and lumbar support for the front seats and an available navigation system. The exterior is dressed up with 18-inch wheels, LED lighting at the front and rear and hands-free trunk access. Options for the C-Class Premium include AMG®-Line styling and features, Nappa leather upholstery, the Night Package and a few others.
C-Class Exclusive
If you step up to the 2022 C-Class Sedan Exclusive, your luxury car will include all of the features on the Premium trim level plus a few extras. For example, the interior of this C-Class Sedan will have enhanced ambient lighting, inductive wireless device charging, illuminated door sills and sound personalization to complement the Burmester® 3D sound system. Additional standard features include PARKTRONIC®, active parking assistance and Guard 360 with a surround-view system. There are also several optional features available. These include SiriusXM®, a USB package, a digital and intelligent ambient lighting system, a heated steering wheel, the Driver Assistance package, a panorama sunroof and a few others that are available at the Premium trim level.
C-Class Pinnacle
The Pinnacle is the top-of-the-line trim level available for the C-Class. It adds on to the Exclusive trim level’s equipment with a Mercedes-Benz navigation system, augmented video for the navigation equipment and a heads-up display screen. At this trim level, you also can add numerous premium features. The options include an integrated toll pass, a dash cam, the Night Package and all of the options that are available for the Exclusive trim level.
